Comprehensive housing reform in Málaga – Pedregalejo.

The AIM of this reform was optimising room size, for a family whose requirements had changed as their children got older, and correcting the lack of natural sunlight.

Our ACHIEVEMENT was to solve both requirements by only moving the kitchen to the other end of the dwelling.

The RESULT, well-connected shared spaces, almost diaphanous and full of sunlight, with larger, better lit, and ventilated rooms in a neutral and versatile style that is easy to decorate and transform. Additionally, thermal comfort was improved (thermally insulating walls and floors), together with acoustic soundproofing of party walls, ceilings and exterior carpentry.
